Sonia Horton

Sonia Horton brings more than 20 years of HR leadership experience to RR Living, including more than six years growing the people platform at Valiant Residential. Her career has been built within property management, multifamily housing, and private equity, where she has led and developed HR functions that support organizational growth and performance. Her communicative, collaborative, partnership-focused approach strengthens the company's work across people, culture, and talent development.

As Vice President of People & Talent, Sonia partners with the executive leadership team to grow the RR Living platform. She leads efforts to develop associates, strengthen the leadership pipeline, attract and retain talent, and evolve people strategy alongside the growth of the business. Sonia was named a finalist for VP of Human Resources of the Year at the 2025 AAGD Sapphire Awards and holds a Master's degree in Marketing with a concentration in Human Resources.
